Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that, worldwide, 22 million kids under the age of 5 are overweight. Here in the U.S., obesity is defintely impacting our children's health and quality of life. In fact, in the last 30 years, childhood obesity rates in the U.S. have tripled among kids and teens ages 12 to 19. Without intervention, this epidemic will only worsen.
