Is McDonald's New Happy Meal Happier than Its Unhealthy Predecessor?

McDonald's has experienced a slew of negative press coming from all directions over the past year. Much of the negative press revolved around its Happy Meal and the amount of unhealthy foods that were being sold to kids with the addition of the infamous toy. In fact, San Francisco banned the Happy Meal last year.

We all started to realize that the Happy Meal didn't give us much reason to be happy, especially with the onslaught of childhood obesity that has become so much a part of our lives. It seems McDonald's may have gotten the message. It announced this week that it would be making big changes to its foods, especially with regards to the Happy Meal.
