Food and Nasal Allergies

Some foods cause nasal allergic reactions in sensitive people. For instance, foods such as chamomile used in tea, the spice coriander, hazelnuts, and even apples can cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to certain pollens.

Take note of any foods that may increase your nasal allergy symptoms. Share your list with your doctor. Once your allergen is identified, he or she will let you know if you need to avoid certain foods to reduce your allergy symptoms.
