Use a good moisturizer day and night that will rehydrate your complexion. The best way to tell if your moisturizer is rich enough is to do what I call the "tight test." Apply the moisturizer and wait a few minutes. If your skin feels tight, it is not rich enough. Wear a sunscreen daily and NEVER tan as this will only cause more dryness and will age you quickly.

A luminizing primer is important to apply before foundation to restore extra moisture and radiance back into your complexion. Never apply makeup to skin that has not been primed as this will cause the makeup to look uneven.

Choose liquid foundations over powders and sprays to keep skin smooth and even. Blend them on with a non-latex sponge and your skin will look moist and dewy.

Go for cream blush over powder blush to keep cheeks soft and supple. Powders can dry out the skin and make your face appear dull.

When using loose face powder to set your makeup and erase shine, keep it concentrated to the T-zone only. This will allow the rest of your skin to glow and not look dull, which overpowdering can do to dry skin.
